The Oyo state governor-elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the state governor, Abiola Ajimobi at the State Government House in Ibadan, the state capital.
This was made known in a post on the official social media accounts of governor Abiola Ajimobi.
‘Earlier today, Oyo State’s Governor-Elect, my brother Engr. Seyi Makinde Paid me a Courtesy Visit at The Government House.’ it reads.
Makinde was joined by his deputy, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan; a former commissioner of the state, Senator Hosea Agboola and others for the visit.
The visit, an insider told insideoyo.com, is part of move to have a hitch free transition between the two parties.
“Yeah, GSM went to see the governor today. It’s part of plan for the transition.”, he said.
Recall that Seyi Makinde defeated Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressives Congress in the Saturday 9th March governorship election in the state.
