The Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde and other South West governors on Monday attended the funeral service of Mrs Olufunke Olakunri in Ondo state.

Mrs Olakunri, the daughter of the leader of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was killed by unknown gunmen.

A tweet on Makinde’s official account reads “We attended the funeral service of Mrs Olufunke Olakunri this morning, at St David’s Anglican Cathedral Church, Akure and later visited her father, Pa Reuben Fasoranti at home.
” May her soul rest in peace, and may God give her family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
