Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state accompanie by governors of Kano, Kebbi, Niger, and Zamfara states visited Shasha in Ibadan follwing ethnic crisis that erupted the community.
At different instances, the governors met with Sarkin Shasha Palace and the Baale of Shasha community.

The four Northern Governors hailed Makinde for his quick intervention, stressing that only criminals cash in on issues that touch on ethnic sentiments to foment trouble.
Kebbi Governor Atiku Bagudu, disclosed this while addressing stakeholders at the home of Seriki Shasha on Tuesday.
They said they should not be allowed because Nigerians have lived together for centuries and will continue to do so for the prosperity of all.
