Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on Thursday visited popular Dugbe market, following the outbreak of fire on Wednesday which destroyed properties.
The governor was accompanied by Caretaker Chairman, Ibadan North West Local Government, Hon. Rahman Adepoju.
On Wednesday, Dugbe market fire razed many shops and destroyed goods worth millions of naira. Witnesses reportedly said a spark from a welder’s shop had ignited the fire which quickly spread to other shops in the market.Several stores filled with bedding, clothes, furniture, electronics and travelling bags were destroyed in the incident.
