Ibadan-born entrepreneur and lawmaker-elect to represent Egbeda, Ona Ara federal constituency, Oloye Akin Alabi on Friday inspected work at the ongoing sports complex at the Urban Day Grammar school, Ibadan, the state capital.
InsideOyo.com gathered that the Sports complex is part of Akin Alabi’s commitment to the development of Sports and grassroot development in his constituency and the state.
“The new complex will aid grassroots development in sporting infrastructure that will benefit the residents of Egbeda/Ona Ara.
“This new Football pitch will host tournaments and give local talents access to good facilities,” Oloye Alabi said in a tweet on Friday.
The new Sports complex will bridge the gap and give rural dwellers equal access to good sports infrastructure that will not only be useful for recreational use but also to create and develop new career In Sports.
The owner of Naira bet who contested under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2015 election and lost recontested under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and won in the 2019 election.
