As a former commissioner for finance in Oyo State, Mr. Adedeji Zaccheus Adelabu celebrates his 40th years on earth, Governor Abiola Ajimobi has saluted the Iwo-Ate born finance manager for his ‘unusual creativity’.
Zacch as the first-class graduate of accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is fondly called, became Ajimobi’s commissioner in 2011, at age 33.
The governor, in an advertorial placed in Nigerian Tribune and other national dailies, also extolled Adelabu’s ‘trademark brilliance and wisdom’ which he exhibited while in government.
In the advertorial, Ajimobi wrote: “I join in celebrating a young, brilliant and wise gentleman at forty.
“Having worked with you in the service of the people of Oyo State for 4 years as Honourable Commissioner for Finance, I can testify to your unusual creativity, astuteness and uncommon skills in public finance management.
“If the evidences of your first forty years are anything to go by, I can see your lights shinning ever so brightly on the global horizon for many decades ahead.
“As you celebrate forty years, I wish you many more years of your trademark brilliance and wisdom,” the statement added.
