The Aare of Ofiki Land, Alayaluwa, Oba Adeoye Gbenga Adigun Oyinlola II, JP has given glory, praise to God for sparing his life to mark another birthday on the surface of the earth.
The traditional ruler in chat with insideoyo.com on Friday, said he was delighted to see this day.
His words: “I am delighted to see this day. It’s a privilege and grace to witness a bright day not to talk of a whole year.
“Honestly, to me it’s a reflection of God’s love and kindness on me. My birthday is special because my Daddy told me all medicine was used to abort me when my mother conceived me but proved to be vitamin. He pleaded for forgiveness few years ago before he died.
“So if am alive and become a blessed Young king in Yoruba Land then it’s worthy to praise God and worship Him more. That’s the secret of my relationship with my Creator.
I’m here on Assignment for humanity across the globe. Currently, I am serving as the President of All Africa Baptist Youth in 34 Countries and Vice President of the Baptist Youth in Baptist World Alliance. Why would I not thank and worship God more?”
Oba Adeoye prayed that his kingdom continues to prosper and develop in infrastructure, economy and spiritual.
He said: “It’s my prayer for my Kingdom to prosper, regain all her lost glory in peace, develop in infrastructure, economy & spiritual.
“Special prayers for His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde for his good intentions for the state. I urge him not to forget my various requests. He’s sent to liberate the state. May God be with him and his cabinet.
“Special thanks to my Queen and Children who prepared a surprise birthday anniversary for me. It is a surprise because I never celebrated in that form but often offer the day for personal life evaluation, Praises and Prayers to God.”
