Hon Shina Peller, lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, has called on nation’s security agencies to urgently mobilize in full force to ensure those responsible for the kidnap of four farmers at Agric Settlement, Iseyin were apprehended and brought to book.
Recall that a farm manager alongside three others were abducted by unknown gunmen last Saturday at an Agric Farm Settlement in Oke Ogun.
The lawmaker in a press statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday, expressed his heart felt sympathy to the families of the victims, and called for immediate action to ensure the remaining ones held hostage are rescued alive.
According to the Accord candidate for Oyo North Senatorial District, the government must ensure the perpetrators of the heinous act are brought to book and the remaining three abductees are released alive.
His words: “It breaks my heart to learn that four farmers were abducted and one killed in the agricultural settlement area of Iseyin, Oyo State.
“This hits so close to home because Iseyin is my constituent and my hometown. I offer my sincere condolences to the family of Adeyemi Michael, one of those abducted, on the tragic death of their son.
”I call on the security forces to mobilize in full force to ensure the perpetrators of this heinous act are brought to book and the remaining three abductees are released alive to restore peace and orderliness in Iseyin.”
