The Ladilu of Oyo Kingdom and Oyo central Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka has announced Hon. Oladejo Amos Olusoji, Former Executive chairman of Lagelu local government area as Director General of his Campaign council.
A statement by the media team of the former Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde said Hon. Olusoji who is also known as “Success” is an astute politician and a grassroot mobiliser whose political expertise will be of immense benefits to the Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka Senatorial campaign.
It read further: “The Ilaka Senatorial Campaign council is in three layers, with the Central Campaign council headed by the Director General consisting of various Directors and Federal Constituency Zonal coordinators. There is also six member campaign committee for each local government area and 20 member campaign committees for each ward in Oyo Central Senatorial district
“Other members of the Cenntral Campaign council are Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi Oyo Central Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Gbadamosi Kazeem coordinator local government Executive Chairmen, Oloye Agbaakin Benedict Akika , Director for Security Matters
Olalere Benedict Adetunji Director Student matters, also named as members of the Ilaka campaign council are Omolere Omoetan Director Media, Bello Kazeem Olalekan Senatorial Youth leader, and Onilenla Rofiat, Senatorial woman leader.
“Also, Zonal Campaign Coordinators covering the five federal constituencies in Oyo central were named., they are Wahab Adetunji Atiba, Afijio, Oyo East, and Oyo West Federal constituency, Oloye Akin-Aderibigbe Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency
Hon.Sumbo Owolabi Egbeda/Onaara federal constituency, Hon.Akeem Olatunji, Oluyole Federal constituency and Hon.Commissioner local government and chieftency matters Barrister Olasunkanmi
Olaleye Surulere/ogooluwa Federal constituency.
“Also to be inaugurated alongside members of the campaign council, and the zonal coordinators are local government campaign coordinators drawn from each local government and 20 member campaign committees from each wards in Oyo central senatorial district.
“Ilaka enjoined members of the campaign council, zonal, local government coordinators, and ward campaign committee members to be courageous, steadfast and be ready to execute their assignment to the best of their abilities, even as he expressed confidence that every member of the various committees are proven men and women who will make him and the Peoples Democratic Party proud.
“The Oyo born politician also charged members of the campaign council to bring on board all stakeholders and relevant socio cultural groups and association germane to the project at hand in Oyo Central., noting that politics is a game of numbers and as such he expect members of the campaign council to work closely with the Party leaders and executives in other to ensure total victory at the polls for all PDP candidates.”
