Ahead of the forthcoming congresses of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde has procured all nomination forms for the party’s congresses across all levels in the state.
Chairman of the Oyo State Chapter of the PDP, Mr Kunmi Mustapha disclosed this at the end of the Oyo State PDP Caucus, held on Monday.
While appreciating the governor’s gesture, those present at the caucus reaffirmed their belief and trust in the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde as the leader of PDP in Oyo State.
This is as they committed to a rancor free, peaceful and united congress.
The caucus also saw the formation of the Oyo State 2021 Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for congress.
Members of the LOC are Dr Saka Balogun, Honourable Oluyemi Taiwo, Honourable Debo Ogundoyin, Alhaja Bose Adedibu, Alhaji Hamid Gbadamosi, Chief Bayo Lawal, Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Senator Hosea Agboola, Honourable Maruuf Atilola and Micheal Ogunsina.
Some other party members present at the meeting were the deputy governor Rauf Olaniyan, Senator Kola Balogun, Chief Bisi Ilaka, Alhaja Mutiat Ladoja, Honourable Kamil Akinlabi, Dr Gbola Adetunji, Chief Wole Oyelese, Honourable Stanley Olajide, Honourable Adigun Agboworin, Honourable Abdulwasi Musah, Senator Gbenga Babalola, Honourable Kunle Yusuf, Honourable Dada Awoleye.
