The Executive Chairman of the Shooting Stars, Mr Gbolagade Busari, has appealed to the teeming fans of the the club to be patient as the management is reviewing the just concluded season in the Nigerian Professional Football League, (NPFL).
In a statement issued in Ibadan on Friday, Busari hinted that the process of reviewing the performance of the team in the Premier League is being taken with an assurance that a total evaluation will be done.
The chairman further said the management has seen the good, the bad and the ugly sides of the team’s performance with a promise that no efforts with be spared at refocusing the club in the right direction.
“There is no doubt we have a good team that should have competed well in the Premier League. The question is what went wrong?, the chairman asked?
Mr Busari however, thank the teeming supporters of the team who had remained steadfast and resolute in their total support so far.
” The management can feel their pains in the way the team performed but they should keep their faiths in this trying period”, he concluded
