Oyo state signage and advertisement agency (OYSAA) said it will commence massive clampdown on illegal campaign billboards, posters and advertisement flexes debasing public space across the state in line with its urban beautification policy.
The clampdown, the agency said it will commence fully on Monday.
The new Director General of OYSAA, Pastor Tayo Olorunshola stated this in a press statement issued at the state secretariat
Olorunshola frowned at political aspirants and other stakeholders for continually flouting extant laws of the agency.
The Director General also warned that defaulters would be made to face full wrath of the law henceforth as the flexes on their structures would be removed and confiscated
Stakeholders who were also indebted to the agency had been implored to fulfill their obligations in payment of outstanding dues and levies.
