The Oyo state Chapter of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) has said the party remain the only credible alternative with human face manifesto and labour-friendly programme.
The party made this known in statement issued on Saturday. ZLP said it remain optimistic that Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli will be sworn in as the Governor of Oyo state come May 29, 2019.

It is crystal clear that Oyo State people are tired of Government without human face, Labour unfriendly governance and government of deceit full of unfulfilled electoral promises typified by the ruling party in the last eight years.
The Oyo state Chapter of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) is the only credible alternative with human face manifesto, Labour friendly programmes and masses oriented plans that will put smiles on the faces of Oyo state inhabitants after 2019 election when Akogun Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli will be sworn in as the Governor of Oyo state come May 29, 2019 by the grace of God Almighty.
Oyo state electorates are hereby urged to assess the out going government with the level of poverty in the state viz-a-viz the unfulfilled promises which are the hallmarks of the ruling party in Oyo State.
The Gubernatorial candidate of ZLP participated as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in the government led by High Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja where masses oriented programmes in education like 30 students per class; prompt payment of Worker salaries; mass employment of teachers among other programmes that shaped the face of purposeful governance in Oyo state which people of Oyo State are still clamouring for.
ZLP reminds the ruling party that Oyo state people will not permit a repeat of the massively rigged 2015 elections as confessed by the rigging machine of the ruling party.
