Over two thousand students of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology have graduated from the school, Radio Nigeria reports.
The graduands from seven departments were awarded Diploma and Higher Diploma certificates.
Addressing the graduands, the Provost of the college, Mr Muritala Ganiyu advised the graduands to take the training they had undergone seriously and give furtherance of their studies a top priority.
In a remark, Governor Abiola Ajimobi urged them to follow the ethics of the health profession in their dealings.
Represented by Commissioner for Health, Dr Azeez Adedutan, Governor Ajimobi reiterated the commitment of the government to provide job opportunities for the graduands and lauded the management of the college for its milestone in academic delivery.
Two of the graduands expressed joy for passing through the college and promised to contribute their quotas to the development of the health sector.
Highlights of the convocation programme included a cultural dance by the students of the college, presentation of award of excellence, among others.
