2027 Oyo state gubernatorial hopeful, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi (OPA) has hailed former Green Eagles player, Felix Owolabi on his 70th birthday.
Felix Owolabi, a member of the 1980 AFCON-winning squad, clocked 70 recently.
In a release on Sunday through his media office in Ibadan, Abidemi said Owolabi’s contribution to football’s growth can not be over emphasised.
“Let me on behalf of my immediate family, members of OPA political movement across the state congratulate Chief Felix Owolabi as he celebrates his 70th birthday anniversary.
“You are one of the very best that Nigeria has brought forward.
“We all remember your heroic feats and unforgettable deeds and service to Nigeria.
“He served Nigeria to the best of his ability and we commend him for his patriotism, discipline, dedication and sense of duty.
“We wish him a happy Platinum anniversary celebration and pray that he lives many, many more years in good health and in joy,”
