The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has felicitated with Chief Adewale Atanda (Alase) on his recent appointment into the State Advisory Council.
Governor Seyi Makinde had on Tuesday announced Chief Adewale Atanda, the leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ibarapaland as an addition to the Oyo State Advisory Council.
Hon. Ogundoyin said the appointment was a confirmation of Chief Atanda’s loyalty and commitment to the party not only in Ibarapaland but also across Oyo State.
“I want to congratulate our leader, Chief Adewale Atanda Alase for a well merited appointment into the State Advisory Council. Your appointment did not come as a surprise to us in Eruwa and Ibarapaland at large because you have always been a strong pillar of support for our great party in our zone.
“Thank you for being a good leader, and we know that your appointment is another opportunity for you to offer valuable advice and counselling to the present administration towards achieving its set goals and objectives.’
The Oyo State Speaker expressed appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for the choice of Chief Adewale Atanda Alase as part of the State Advisory Council.
“Let me thank the overall leader of our party in Oyo State, our amiable Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for appointing Chief Adewale Atanda into the State Advisory Council.
