The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Olagunju Ojo has reiterated calls for the restructuring of the country, noting that it will bring about the desired change and development of the nation.
He explained that restructuring did not mean disintegration, but reorganisation of the current structure of the country which had not been yielding much result.
Nigerian Tribune reported that Ojo made this call at the first Installation Anniversary of Iba Gani Adams as the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland.
Specifically, he added that the restructuring of the country will bring about the development of the Yoruba nation among other regions of the country.
While felicitating with Iba Gani Adams on his first Installation anniversary, Ojo charged the Aare to continue to put in more efforts at fighting for the progress of Yorubas at home and abroad.
He also tasked Adams on the need to preserve the rich culture of the Yoruba people, which he decried was being eroded.
