Oyo South APC Youth Leader, Other Join Tegbe In PDP
A member of the State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rasheed Ogunbiyi and other prominent stakeholders of the APC in Ibarapa zone have dumped the party with their supporters and pitched their tent with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party.
They said lack of internal democracy and manipulation of the party primaries in the party.
They made this known on Thursday in Ibadan , the state capital.
Ogunniyi who is the Senatorial Youth Leader of the APC joined the PDP together with Hon Gbeminiyi Olaniyan, a party leader from Ibarapa Central and Hon Semiu Oladeji, the party secretary in Ibarapa Central, together with hundreds of their supporters.
The newly defected chieftains were hosted by Mógaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, the Senatorial candidate of the PDP for Oyo South Senatorial District.
In his remarks, Tegbe assured them of a pride of place in the PDP and reward for their efforts.
