Honourable Tajudeen Kareem Abisodun Were, member representing ATISBO, Saki East, Saki West Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives last week, embarked on a comprehensive empowerment programme for his constituents, aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and promoting economic development in the area.
Firstly, Honourable Abisodun ‘Were’ extended financial support of ₦5 million each to the APC Chairmen in Saki West, Saki East, and ATISBO Local Government Areas of Oyo state
The gesture is aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and empowering local leaders to effectively mobilize support and promote party ideals.
According to Honourable Abisodun, a strong and well-supported party structure is essential for delivering good governance, winning elections, and fostering unity within the party.
He emphasized that the financial support will go a long way in enhancing the operational capacity of the party chairmen and enabling them to discharge their duties more effectively.
In addition, Honourable Abisodun facilitated the distribution of essential agro-processing equipment to hardworking women in Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo LGA, Oyo State.
The equipment, which includes universal ovens and dryers, is expected to enhance service delivery, boost sustainable income, and promote financial independence among women in the agricultural sector.
The agro-processing equipment was provided through Honourable Abisodun’s collaboration with the National Center for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM).
He noted that the initiative is part of his efforts to support initiatives that uplift his constituents and drive development in his constituency.
Honourable Abisodun reiterated his commitment to empowering his people and providing them with the necessary tools to succeed.
He emphasized that his constituency office remains open to receive requests and suggestions from his constituents, and that he will continue to work tirelessly to attract development projects to the area.
