A member of House of the House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Mr. Abiodun Awoleye has lost his third term bid.
Awoleye, who contested under the platform of the Accord Party, lost to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate, Mr. Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi.
The Returning Officer for the federal constituency, Professor Gbenga Olujide Mukaila who announced the results at the Ibadan North Collation Centre, Agodi Ibadan, said the APC candidate, Akinremi polled 17,048 to defeat his close rival, Hon. Ademola Omotosho of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored a total vote of 16,337.

The Action Democratic Congress (ADC) recorded a total votes of 5,884, Action Democratic Party (ADP) polled a total number of 2,174 votes, while Awoleye of Accord scored 3,238 votes
