The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Micheal Ogunsina as the Acting Publicity Secretary of the Party.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the Chairman of the PDP in the State, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro.
This is coming following the victory of Engineer Akeem Olatunji as the party’s candidate for Oluyole local government ahead of the local government elections in the state.
According to the statement, Ogunsina’s appointment came as a result of his dedication, hard work, and outstanding leadership as the State Youth Leader of the PDP.
“Mr. Ogunsina has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the party’s principles and values, and his contributions have been instrumental in mobilizing and engaging the youth within the party. As the Acting Publicity Secretary, we are confident that he will continue to elevate the party’s message and effectively communicate the PDP’s vision to the people of Oyo State.
“Mr. Micheal Ogunsina will combine his office as the State Youth Leader with that of the Acting Publicity Secretary of the Party in Oyo State.
“I am delighted to appoint Micheal Ogunsina as the Acting Publicity Secretary. His track record of dedication and his passion for the party’s progress make him an ideal fit for this important role. I have no doubt that he will excel in his new position,” Ogungbenro added.
Meanwhile, the party also congratulated Engineer Akeem Olatunji over his emergence as the party’s chairmanship candidate for Oluyole local government ahead of the local government election.
The party said: “Furthermore, the Oyo State PDP wishes to extend its warmest congratulations to Engr. Akeem Olatunji, the immediate Past Publicity Secretary of the Party, on his emergence as the PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Oluyole Local Government in the forthcoming Local Government Council Elections. Engr. Olatunji’s leadership and tireless efforts as the Publicity Secretary have earned him the trust and confidence of the party members and leadership.
“His nomination as the Chairmanship candidate is a testament to his capability and dedication to the ideals of the PDP. The party is confident that under Engr. Olatunji’s leadership, Oluyole Local Government will witness tremendous progress and development.
