A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Saki West local government area of Oyo state, Alhaji Salam Aribidesi who is popularly known as Nascotech is dead.
His demise was confirmed by the Acting Publicity Secretary of the Party, Micheal Ogunsina, on Wednesday.
Ogunsina in a statement said the demise of the chieftain was painful. He commiserated with the family of the deceased and the good people of Saki West local government area.
The statement read: “I just confirmed the death of one of our leaders, Alhaji Salami Aribidesi who is popularly known as Nascotech from Saki West.
“Alhaji Nascotech until his death was a dedicated, passionate and a committed member of our Party and the Omituntun Family.
“Baba Nascotech death is painful but we are consoled by the fact that while he was here with us, he played his roles well and his impacts are indelible.
“The Leadership of the Party commiserate with the people of Saki West and we pray that the Almighty God will give us all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of our revered Leader.”

Nascotech was a notable and prominent politician in Saki, Oke Ogun and Oyo state in general.
He was appointed caretaker chairman of Saki West local government during the Late Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala’s administration.
