Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde, has described as untrue report that he is sick.
Speaking with insideoyo.com on phone on Sunday, Fele, who is also the NURTW chairman in the six South west states, said the rumour was unfounded adding that it was the work of detractors.
Insideoyo.com had yesterday, after rumoured filtered on social media that Fele was dead.
Though Fele was unreachable for comment, Insideoyo.com had spoken with some sources close to NURTW, before publishing the story.
Fele said he is fit as fiddle, asking rumour peddlers to come and see him if they are not sure.
“I’m talking to you from my house. I am not not in any hospital. Can somebody who is seriously ill talk to you like this?, he asked.
He advised people to desist from maligning people’s image, explaining that only God gives power.
He urged the good people of the state, especially members of NURTW to go on with their normal activities.
