The Muslim Community of Oyo State on Tuesday, 11th February, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander, 2 Division Garrison Command at its Headquarters in Odogbo Cantonment, Ibadan.
During the visit, which was led by its Chairman, Alhaji Ishaq Kunle Sanni, ably represented by Barrister Tajudeen Adeniji, the Muslim Community praised the Army for playing very well its traditional role of identifying and defeating all enemies within its territory and for playing adequate supportive role in providing security in Oyo State.
The Community expressed its preparedness in collaborating with the Army, wherever it’s services are required.
In his response, the Comnander, Brig-Gen. HI Dasuki expressed his joy at receiving the delegation. He implored the Muslim Community to close ranks with other religious groups, in order to maintain harmonious relationship, thereby fostering peace and security in the society.
