Lawmaker representing ATISBO, Saki East State Constituency at the Oyo state House of Assembly, Honorable Riliwan Saminu Gbadamosi (Wale Canada) has commiserated with the Oke Ogun Muslim community over the demise of the chairman of the Oke Ogun League of Imams and Alfas and Chief Imam of Tede, Alhaji Ahmad Tijani Adedigba.
Wale Canada described the Late Imam as a man of God who served Almighty Allah throughout his life time.
While praying that Allah should grant him Al Jannah Firdaus, the chairman House Committee on Health said he will be greatly missed by the entire ummah in Oke Ogun, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.
He said: “I want to use this opportunity to commiserate with the immediate family, the people of Atisbo Local Government and the Muslim Ummah in Oke Ogun over the demise of Alhaji Ahmad Tijani Adedigba, the chairman of the Oke Ogun League of Imams and Alfas and Chief Imam of Tede in Atisbo Local Government Area of the state.
“The news of the demise of the Late Chief Imam met us with rude shock. He was a man of peace and a great leader, who provided direction to the Imams and Alfas body and contributed to the peaceful religious atmosphere in Oke Ogun.
“I pray Almighty Allah grant him Al Jannah Firdaus. He will be greatly missed.”
