The Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barr. Bayo Lawal has vowed to halt the bastardization of the Master Plan of Bodija Estate.
Barr. Lawal gave the assurance during an interactive meeting with the executive committee of the Bodija Estate Residents Association at the Corporation’s headquarters in Ibadan.
According to him, a situation where commercial outfits spring up indiscriminately in the estate at the detriment of the original plan was unacceptable
He said the present administration in the state would not place economic interest above the welfare and healthy living of the people
The Chairman urged the residents of Bodija Estate to be alive to their responsibilities by paying their ground rents promptly.
In his remarks,the president of Bodija Estate Residents Association, Architect Bademosi pledged the cooperation of the residents to the Chairman to ensure the realization of the dreams of the founding fathers of Bodija Estate.
