The screening committees for the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial aspirants in South West have cleared all the 78 aspirants who purchased form and faced the committees.
Four committees screened aspirants to fast-track the process. None of the aspirants was disqualified, according to the report.

The breakdown of the report showed that Oyo State has the highest number of aspirants with 23, while Ogun State follows with 17 aspirants.
Ondo has 16, while only nine are jostling for the three senatorial seats in Osun State.
Lagos and Ekiti have seven and six aspirants respectively.

It is not clear if the party will still hold appeal sessions since no one was disqualified.
