Hon. Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, the lawmaker representing ATIBA, Oyo East, and Oyo West Federal Constituency, has denied involvement in a letter requesting financial assistance for the renovation of Oyo East Local Government Secretariat.
In a public disclaimer made available on Monday, Hon. Adeyemi stated that his office maintains extreme confidentiality and secrecy, and any leakage of information should not be traced to his office.
He emphasized his commitment to the rapid development of Oyo Federal Constituency and his willingness to collaborate with individuals who share his vision.
The lawmaker, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on South West Development Commission, described himself as a person who avoids “politics of bitterness” and “dirty political games and tactics.” He urged the public to count him out of any sabotage attempts.
The disclaimer was in response to a letter purportedly written by the Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, requesting financial assistance for the renovation of the local government secretariat in Kosobo, Oyo.
The statement read: “My attention has been drawn to a letter purportedly written to my office by the Chairman of Oyo East Local Government for lending hands to renovate the Oyo East Local Government Secretariat, Kosobo,Oyo.
“I wish to say it emphatically “that my constituency office maintains extreme confidentiality and secrecy identified with corporate and public establishments. This has been our mantra over the years”.
“If there is any leakage of information, It shouldn’t be traced to my office at all as I don’t involve in politics of bitterness. I am deeply committed to the rapid developments of Oyo Federal Constituency and ready to join hands with whoever aligns with my vision.
“Please count me out of any sabotage as I keep distance from any dirty political games and tactics as may be employed by desperate politicians.”
