After poor performance at the last Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections in Oyo state, the state’s chapter of African Democratic Congress (ADC), hinted that alliance within the opposition party is in view in preparation for March 9 governorship election in Oyo state.
The Public Relations Officer in a message sent to members of the party apparently preparing their minds towards update on the fate of the party said: “alliance is imminent, all hands on deck.”
The governorship election holds on Saturday, March 9 but the party failed to win a slot in last Saturday’s election while APC, PDP and ADP had representatives with APC as the biggest winner.
He added further, “We are all brothers from same family with goal to liberate Oyo State. Nobody is there yet.
” Olufemi Lanlehin (the party’s gubernatorial candidate) share the burdens of all ADC members but he is on top of the situation to ensure the party work harmoniously with other political parties, leaders and statesmen across the board.
“This is the time for everyone to rise beyond parochial interest by working for the betterment of our dear state, hence no sacrifice is too much.
“We must remain united, it is time to truly Arise, Win and Shine collectively,” Olatunji stated.
