The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo state, on Thursday, held its delegates congress, in Ibadan, the state capital.
This was made known in a statement made available to insideoyo.com by the publicity secretary of the party, Barrister Bimpe Adelowo.
According to the statement, the congress was supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), men of Nigeria Police, and others.
Adelowo said, also in, attendance were members of state executives and local government executives, delegates from across the 33 local government areas of Oyo state.
While addressing the party faithfuls at the congress, the State Chairman gave update about sales of nomination form into various elective offices on the platform of the ADC.
He stated that about 7 members of ADC have obtained presidential nomination form, while 4 members in Oyo have obtained nomination forms for House of Representatives and more members equally obtained form for House of Assembly.
He encouraged every members who may have interest in any Elective Position on the platform of ADC that the platform is open to them.
He also encouraged youth to take the advantage made by the party to obtain nomination forms free of cost.
