The deputy speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Barr. AbdulWasi Musah is not happy with the rift between Governor Abiola Ajimobi and Communications Minister, Barr. Adebayo Shittu.
Musah, who spoke this morning on a political programme aired on Fresh FM in Ibadan, the state capital, said he would be happy if the rift can be settled before the forthcoming election.
Insideoyo.com had reported how the governor and minister have been on eachother’ throats over the control of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, especially from the time Shittu was nominated as a ministerial nominee from the state.
According to Musah, who was once personal assistant to Shittu when he was Attorney General, he said anywhere in the world, the governor is the leader of the party and that his loyalty lies with the Governor.
Saying that. ‘may our loyalty never be tested, he said he was in a tight corner as he is very close to two gladiators.
Declaring that his people want him to transit from his present position as lawmaker representing Saki West state constituency to legislator representing ATISBO, Saki East & Saki West federal constituency, he said he has performed than his predecessors.
