A federal lawmaker and House of Representatives candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Taiwo Michael Akintola has expressed optimism that his party would produce the next governor of the state.
Hon. Akintola who is fondly called TMA said this on Monday at Alakia, in Egbeda local government area of the state, urging the party leaders and supporters to remain focused.
Drumming support for the party governorship candidate, senator Olufemi Lanlehin, Akintola noted that a house divided against itself cannot stand.
“ADC, like a growing child, has a kitten challenge. But we have to trivialise the challenges and put individual differences aside.”
“Our coming together is divine. With God on our side, our party will take over governance in this state,” the lawmaker stated further.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to the constituency and the development of the mass of its people just as he enjoined the people to support his re-election bid.
Eld. Opawale Olu, Mr Owolabi, Dauda Basiru, Alhaja Omotunde Lawal, Alhaja Bola Abiodun, Alhaja Adeleke and a host of other bigwigs and supporters of the party at the gathering pledged their unflinching support and loyalty to the party and her candidates across the state.
