Rt Honourable Abdulwasi Musah PhD, the Chairman, Oyo state House of Assembly Service Commission, OYHASC, has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdulraheem Bayo Lawal over an Award of Recognition.
The Deputy Governor will be given the Award of Recognition by the Organizing Committee of the 10th Omituntun Ramadan Lecture Series coming up on Saturday, 23rd of March, 2024, in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
Musah in a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Friday described the award as well deserved.
The Former Deputy Speaker of the Oyo state House of Assembly noted that the recognition award is a confirmation that the Deputy Governor is a man of peace.
He added that the Deputy Governor has contributed in many ways to the development of Islam since his assumption of office as the Deputy Governor of the state.
He commended the Deputy Governor for being a strong pillar for the Muslim Ummah in the state and a link between the Muslim community and the Seyi Makinde-led government.
The statement read in part: “This is to congratulate the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal over the Award of Recognition by the Organizing Committee of the Omituntun Ramadan Lecture Series.
“No doubt, the award is well deserved. The Deputy Governor has been a strong pillar for the Muslim Ummah since his assumption of office as the Deputy Governor. He has done a whole lot for the Ummah.
“I pray Allah continues to bless him more to do more for the Ummah. Congratulations our Baba!”
