Ahead of the March 18 gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections in Oyo State, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate in Ibadan North Constituency II, Mrs Ogungbe Olayinka Jokotola has stepped down from the race and endorsed the re-election bid of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Honourable Adebayo Babajide Gabriel.
Ogungbe made this known in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, in Ibadan, the state capital.
She also passed her vote of confidence and expressed her support for the re-election bid of the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
She directed all of her followers (ADC Vanguard) and well wishers to Vote Hon Babajide Micheal, Engr Seyi Makinde and all the PDP candidates in her constituency from “top to bottom”
Ogungbe who is from Ward 11 of the Ibadan North State Constituency is the elder sister to a two-term former member of Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Olusegun Olaleye better known as Radical brother.
