The Orisunmibare Community Development Forum is set to host the inaugural “Orisunmibare Development Summit 2024.”
The event which is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Ebenezer Primary School, located off the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway , will commence at 10:00 am prompt.
The Summit aims to engage community members, leaders, and government officials in discussions surrounding the development and challenges faced by the Orisunmibare community.
The summit will also feature awards of excellence in community development distinguished personalities in the society.
Key topics will include the roles of community associations, local challenges, and collaborative solutions for sustainable development.
Featured speakers at the summit will include Barrister Yomi Ogunlola, who will address “The Roles of Community Associations in Community Development,” and Barrister Rotimi Daramola, who will discuss “Challenges of Orisunmibare Community and Possible Solutions.”
Additionally, the Chairman of Oluyole Local Government Area, Hon. Akeem Olatunji, will speak on local government collaboration.
An interactive session will follow, allowing attendees to engage with speakers and share their perspectives.
Distinguished guests at the pivotal event will include Hon. Waheed Akintayo, Oyo State House of Assembly Member; Hon. Tolu Sadipe, Federal House of Representatives Member representing Oluyole Local Government Area; Hon. Akinfunlayo Williams, Honorable Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development in Oyo State,Prof. Soliu Adelabu, Honorable Commissioner for Education in Oyo State and the Chairman, Oyo state Universal Basic Education Board,OYO- SUBEB, Dr Nureni Adeniran.
