On a beautiful day of 09/03/19 another history was set, new dawn, a new rain – a sign that people’s voice and choice are still potent.
The weather filled with a heavy cloud, which only mean one thing, the rain is about to drop, showers of blessings, we can only hope for and not a disastrous rain, which may lead to loss of properties but an improved standard of living for the people of Oyo state.
We pray for a very strong and durable Umbrella to withstand all forces of the wind in the course of the rain. We are all prepared because we understand the fact that one only needs an umbrella when it’s raining or the sun is scorching. Whichever way, happiness is certain because the solution to scorching sun and rain is an umbrella and that Oyo people achieved through the ballot.
Welcome to A NEW era, A NEW Rain, blessed people of Oyo state. Omituntun GSM Seyi Markinde.
Now that we have the Umbrella to our rescue, I want to join myself, like minds and with the good people of Oyo state to congratulate the voice of the masses, the astute and charismatic Leader the Lord has given to pilot the State for the given constitutional period of time.
Engineer Seyi Makinde, we the people of Oyo state put our trust in you to make life easy for not just the indigenes but also inhabitants of the state.
We will like you to care for the old, the civil servants, ensure maximum security and basic welfare of the citizen which is the hallmark of a good government. We also implore you not to forget the educational sector and please put an end to LAUTECH Ogbomoso crisis so the lives of students will not be wasted more than it already is.
Sir, as much as we love your personality, we can also do otherwise if you fail to keep to the promises. I want to remind you sir about the saying “Vox Populi, Vox Dei is Latin for “the voice of the people is the voice of God.”, We only hope you have learnt from past leaders who rose to power because of people’s voice and fell when they betrayed their trust. However, sir, we want you to keep to the promises made in your manifesto. We pray the Lord will guide and see you through the journey.
Conclusively, to the people of Oyo state, I congratulate you all for the outstanding performance, support and one voice showed in the just concluded election. It only shows how powerful, loyal and dedicated we are in fighting for what is just for the well being of the citizens of the state.
Also, I like to send my wishes to the outgoing Governor his Excellency Isiaka Ajimobi for what he has done for the state and also wish him well in whichever way he chooses. I hope he has learnt more too about politics and most especially the people of Oyo state. Just as your slogan “Ki Oyo le da Ajumose gbogbo wa ni”
I guess we did that already. This is Oyo state we set the pace.
Omituntun is here!
