The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mahood Olalekan Balogun will tomorrow 18th December 2023 install Kayode Ogunsola, an Harvard-trained Business guru as the Mogaji of Ogunsola family, Itabigbo, Oranyan, Ibadan.
In a letter of appointment issued by Olubadan Advisory Council and obtained by journalists, Dr Kayode Ogunsola will be installed Mogaji of Ogunsola family, Oranyan at the Itutaba palace of Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The ceremony is expected to have family members of Ogunsola, members of the Olubadan-in-Council and other dignitaries from across the country.
Who is KAYODE OGUNSOLA?
Kayode was born in July 1973 to the family of Ogunsola, Solekan Oranyan, Ibadan.
He attended Coronal School lkoyi Lagos for his nursery and primary education from 1975 to 1983.
He attended Commad Secondary School, Ipaja Lagos for his secondary education when he
achieved 7 distinctions in his WASC/ GCE O’ Levels.
He later graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of lbadan in 1994.
He holds a Diploma in Computing (1996) from Westminster Colege UK, a Postgraduate Certficate in Information Systems Design (2000) from the University of Westminster UK, and an Executive MBA (2004) from the Cranfield University Schoal of
Management UK.
He was a participant at the Harvard Business School’s Executive Development
Program (2006) and has attended various other executive, management, strategy and corporate leadership courses. Kayode later obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB, Hons) degree from the Unversity of London in 2020.
Kayode is currently undergoing a PhD\DBl doctoral programme at the University of Aveiro, Aveiro -Porto, Portugal.
Kayode was General Manager Business Development & Investment at NiMet.
He is currently a Consultant Technical Programme Manager at a various blue-chip muitinational corporate
organizations in the United States.
He is the Owner and President of the VBG Enterprise Group of Companies, located in Virginia USA.
He was formerly the Executive Drector for Strategy and Business Development in AfriMobile UK.
He is an accomplished Programme Manager and Business Executive specialzing in Business Development, Organizational Transformaton, Business Strategy. Process Developmernt, Information Systems Design and Business/Technalogy Architecture for gobal multi-national organizations.
He is also a management consultant and business systems expert with vast
experience in the use of technology to achieve efficiency and organizational effectiveness in
business.
He led the Technology & Infrastructure funci on for Deloitte & Touche Netherlands working on the Canon EMEA Programme and has worked with various other large blue-chip companies worldwide across Europe, America, the Middle East and Asia.
Kayode has delivered successful Business Change and IT projects wordwide with awards and commendations. Kayode’s industry experience spans Banking. Insurance & Financial Services, Telecoms, Pharmaceuticals, Util ties and FMCG industries.

Kayode is a highly versatile, resourceful and sought-after expert whose work experience incudes stints in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Sri-Lanka, India, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, the United States, Canada, South Africa and China where he consulted services for reputable bue-chip companies. Kayode was the chairperson of the Nigerians In Diaspora Organzation (NIDOE) UK Chapter from 2009- 2012.
