Olubadan Advisory Council has reinstated Chief Sulaiman Olawale Oladoja Akinsola as Mogaji Akinsola Family Compound, Labiran Area, Ibadan.
Mogaji Akinsola’s reinstatement is contained in the official statement issued by the Olubadan Palace today.
The statement which quoted his letter of reinstatement signed by the clerk to the Olubadan Advisory Council, Mr A Kolawole Balogun in part reads “After series of appeal the Olubadan of Ibadanland considered your plea and has directed me to inform you that in consideration of your recent letter of appeal and the letter received from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters dated 26th August 2024 with reference number CB.161/1/18/69, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr, Owolabi Olakulehin has graciously approved your reinstatement as Mogaji Akinsola Family Compound, Labiran Area, Ibadan with immediate effect”
The letter also admonished Mogaji Akinsola to use the privilege of his reinstatement to contribute his quota to the development of Ibadanland.
It would be recalled that the appointment of Mogaji Akinsola was revoked on March 12, 2024.
