Oyo Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan has mourned the death of Hon. Kehinde Ayoola, the state’s Commissioner for the environment.
The deputy governor described the death as shocking coming at a time when his experience will be needed to help in shaping the future of our state.
“Hon. Ayoola was a very amiable fellow who is committed to the development of not only Oyo town where he is from but Oyo state in general. Ayoola will be sorely missed, we should, however, take solace in the fact that good people don’t die, they live forever in the hearts of those who love them.

“My sincere condolences to his family, friends, the people of Oyo town, and the good people of Oyo state.”
In the same way, Senator Teslim Folarin described the death as shocking and sent condolences to his family and the Oyo state government.
In his words, Chief Bisi Ilaka, the Chief Of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde said late Ayoola was an upright man who touched many lives and though he is no longer with us, his memories live on.
“I received with deep sadness, the news of the death of my dear brother, Rt. Hon. Kehinde Ayoola. Up until his death this morning, he served as Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources of our great State.
“My sincere condolences go to his family, people of Oyo town and citizens of Oyo State in general.
“I pray that God grant his family comfort and strength at this time. (Amen)”
The government of Oyo State, on Thursday, announced the passing of its Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Honourable Kehinde Ayoola.
The Commissioner had at the start of the Fourth Republic, served as the Speaker of the 4th Session of the Oyo State House of Assembly, under the administration of former Governor Lam Adesina, also of blessed memory.
