Over 10,000 people from the Oke-Ogun area in Oyo State have benefited from the free eye and ear treatment program hosted by Barrister Ahmed Raji SAN in Iseyin, Oke-Ogun, Oyo State, on behalf of former President General Olusegun Obasanjo.
The program, which took place amidst notable dignitaries from the region, aimed to provide medical aid to those in need.
During the event, Barrister Ahmed Raji SAN, a legal luminary and philanthropist, emphasized the importance of giving back to society, as exemplified by the former president’s foundation.
He urged beneficiaries to use the benefits judiciously and appreciated former President Obasanjo’s initiative. Barrister Raji also encouraged the public to elect reasonable and intelligent individuals, especially youths, into public office.
The Chief Imam of Iseyin land, Alhaji Akeem Olajori, and the Chairman of Christians in Iseyin Local Government, Apostle Sunday Ogundairo, thanked President Obasanjo and Barrister Ahmed Raji SAN for the kind gesture of the three-day free medical outreach in Iseyin.
Dignitaries present at the occasion included the Aseyin of Iseyin, His Royal Majesty Oba Sefiu Olawale Ajirotutu the First; the Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisi Ayinla Ado; the Iba of Kisi, His Royal Majesty Oba Moshood Aweda Arowoduye; and other Oke-Ogun Obas and chiefs.
