The governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Ogun state in the last general elections, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo was among the prominent Nigerians that attended the final burial ceremony of Pa (Chief) Hezekiah Agboola Ajulo in Iro-Ekiti and that of Pa Micheal Dele Aduola in Ado-Ekiti, both in Ekiti state on Friday 26th May, 2023.
Pa (Chief) Ajulo who slept in the Lord on the 16th December, 2022 at the age of 112 years was the Olobasu of Iro-Ekiti land while Pa Adulola slept in the Lord at the age of 78 years in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital.
The Church service was held for Pa (Chief) Ajulo at Saint Peter’s Anglican Church, Iro-Ekiti while that of Pa Adulola was held at Redeemed Christian Church (Mega Parish), Ado-Ekiti.
While eulogizing the two prominent sons of Ekiti, Ajadi despite the fact that the duo lived a fulfilled and impactful lives, he noted that unparalleled and exceptional character would be greatly missed.
He maintained that the times and lives of the two prominent sons of Ekiti contributed immensely to the development of their communities and the state as whole.
Ajadi stressed that the duo, during their life time, they demonstrated good character as far as humanity is concerned and that the people of their various communities should go back to the sense of value as witnessed in the lives of the departed souls.
“With this situation, we share in your loss and at the same time we want to thank God for their lives. What that has happened has taught us in the book of religion that we are just passing through and we will leave one day. But no matter how long, it is difficult to absorb the loss easily”.
While appreciating the Ogun state NNPP gubernatorial candidate for his presence at their father’s burial, Ayomidun Adeola Samuel Ajulo, on behalf of the family in the letter of appreciation stated that, “Your Excellency, words are not enough to express our gratitude for all you’ve done for us to ensure the success of the burial of our late father and father-in-law, Chief Hezekiah Agboola Ajulo.
“Coming from such long distance in full force to celebrate with us is highly appreciated/commended as well.
“What else can we say? Than to beseech Almighty Lord to repay you accordingly and enable you achieve that which you so much aspire for better living of the down-throwden in our dear Father land.
“To everything is a beginning, pray your latter years in life shall be more rewarding, prosperous, filled with unalloyed happiness and sound health. Accept our deepest and greatest Appreciation”.
