Whoever is responsible for arranging Ayo Fayose’s media appearances should, in the interest of public decency, ensure that he is kept away from alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand. The former governor of Ekiti State has continued to make a spectacular fool of himself, dragging the good people of Ekiti into ridicule with his erratic conduct and deeply troubling utterances. His public behaviour increasingly suggests a man spiralling dangerously close to the edge of reason.

Anyone who has watched his recent interviews will find it impossible to miss the alarming instability of his mental faculties, an instability mirrored disturbingly by his band of political hoodlums, who appear to have lost all sense of restraint or shame.

In his latest outing, Fayose, the garrulous hog of Nigerian politics, took to national television to spew wild, spurious and utterly unsubstantiated claims; which now hang around his neck like the executioner’s axe of justice.

True to form, the clown of Ekiti launched into reckless, libellous and inflammatory accusations against the Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde. A pathological liar who clearly does not know when to stop, Fayose alleged that Governor Makinde collected the sum of ₦50 billion in the aftermath of the tragic Ibadan explosion.

Ordinarily, such a claim would be dismissed as laughable nonsense. But it ceases to be funny when one remembers that lives were lost, 77 people were injured, and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed. It is deeply offensive that Fayose, a man who has turned politics into a career of begging and selling himself to the highest bidder; would exploit such a tragedy to score cheap political points, showing zero regard for families still nursing the wounds of that disaster.

It is now painfully obvious that Fayose lied. When pressed by the interviewer to substantiate his claim, he all but confessed to fabrication, retorting: “Those things they have been saying about Tinubu, can they be substantiated? Has anybody gone to court?” For this errand boy raised without values, truth is irrelevant; politics is merely a tit-for-tat exchange of lies. Just keep lying on television – that has become Fayose’s stock-in-trade.

What he failed to anticipate was the loyalty of the people of Oyo State to their governor, especially those who have worked and still work with a leader whose watchword is accountability.

When challenged to provide evidence for his untamed allegations, the shameless boaster produced a document that had absolutely nothing to do with Governor Seyi Makinde or the Oyo State Government. What a monumental embarrassment.

What Fayose is now circulating in 2025 is merely an internal memo requesting funds, which he mischievously presented as proof of disbursement. Worse still, the memo neither originated from Governor Makinde nor from the Oyo State Government.

The document being paraded by Ayo Fayose (herein attached) is evidence of request to the Minister of Finance. Where is the evidence of disbursement to the Oyo state government?
Very importantly, where did Fayose get this confidential Govt memo from or is the Government now deliberately leaking confidential documents. Fayose must be interrogated.

Fayose and his debauched cohorts are well aware that Gov. Seyi Makinde is a strong PDP man, still standing tall, so they want to use anything available to attempt to bring him down. This is where they have missed it.

We usually don’t take the time to read carefully. If we went through what former Governor Fayose posted, it was a request that had not yet been approved by the federal government. Yet, the gullible idiots who attach themselves to the joker, Fayose are celebrating the notoriety of criminality. It’s a shame that Fayose came from a state known as the Fountain of knowledge. The people of Ekiti must come out to dissociate themselves from this infamous regular bastard.

At this point, it is almost comical. Watching Fayose on television these days, is like watching a failed comedian bombing spectacularly on stage.

Imagine a man claiming that because he once took Makinde to Ondo State and praised Governor Oyebanji, Makinde would thereafter swallow every blatant lie he uttered. Fayose truly appears delirious – clearly under the influence of whatever substance fuels his hallucinatory delusions.

It is obvious that Fayose and his fellow slimy snakes are mortally afraid of GSM. We therefore urge our governor and leader of our great party to continue hitting them harder, until they tear their clothes and run naked into the marketplace.

Fayose’s problem is simple – he is consumed by jealousy over Seyi Makinde’s steady rise in national politics. Having lost relevance, he has abandoned all restraint and embarked on a desperate campaign of falsehood and limp propaganda.

Once again, Fayose is hereby challenged to present credible evidence of the alleged ₦50 billion disbursement – or prepare to face not just the wrath of the law, but the judgment of the people. The clock is ticking.

GSM to PSM is not negotiable.
Nobody can stop a rising sun.
