A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Mr. Akeem Agbaje has congratulated all residents of the state on the occasion of the New Year celebration.
In a statement made available to journalists by his Media Office, Agbaje urged the people of the state to keep hope alive, saying 2025 will usher in the dawn of a new era.
The legal practitioner said: “Congratulations to all Nigerians, especially the residents of Oyo State on the occasion of the 2025 New Year celebration. Let us keep hope alive; 2025 will be significantly remarkable”.
The APC leader lauded the people of Oyo State for their resilience in the face maladministration witnessed in the state in the last five years, emphasising that they would begin to sing a new song in 2027 when the APC takes over the reigns of power in the state.
The former Chairman of the Ibadan branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) also urged support for President Bola Tinubu, asserting that his reforms would yield more positive results in the New Year.
“We are moving into 2025 in the firm assurance that we will never let our guards down. We must not give up on efforts to build our country. Let’s support President Bola Tinubu in his efforts to reset the political economy. His reforms will yield more dividends in the New Year”, he said.
He concluded: “I wish all residents of Oyo State a Happy New Year. May 2025 bring health and prosperity to everyone. May this be a year of prosperity for our families”.
