Ambassador Mogaji Abudulsabur Abiola Olawore has described the death of the foremost Islamic cleric, the late Sheik Muyideen Ajani Bello, as a rude shock. Mogaji Olawore condoled with Ibadanland, Oyo State, and the Muslim Ummah following the passing of the highly revered Islamic scholar, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, who died at the age of 84.
Sheikh Bello was a beacon of moral guidance, an advocate for peace, and a dedicated servant of Allah. He lived to serve the Almighty Allah and humanity with his unusual insight into the Holy Quran, Hadith, depth of wisdom, and the gift of interpretation, which provided peace, comfort, and guidance for many.
Mogaji Olawore said, “I received with a heavy heart the news of the passing of our revered Islamic cleric, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, whose life was a true testimony of Allah’s divine blessing for humanity.”
He added that the loss was not only for the family but also for Ibadanland, Oyo State, and the Islamic community, who have lost a son and a great preacher. Sheik Muyideen’s preaching, teaching, and insight touched countless lives across Nigeria and beyond. He was greatly loved by both Muslims and Christians.
Mogaji Olawore extended his profound condolences to Sheikh Bello’s family, Ibadan Indigenes, people of Oyo, the Muslim community, and all those who were impacted by his life and teachings. He prayed that Almighty Allah grants Sheikh Bello Al-Jannah Firdaus and provides his loved ones with the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
