A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Egbeda Local Government and Oyo State, Hon. ‘Dapo Oyerinde has joined the global community in celebrating the 2023 Maolud Nabbiy celebration which is one of the significant events in the life of every muslim faithful.
Oyerinde in his felicitating message made available to newsmen in Ibadan said “Prophet Mohammed’s teaching of integrity, compassion, vision, strategic thinking, and interfaith dialogue are all essential qualities of effective leadership as quoted and explained by many authorities. At that, we should imbibe the spirit of good leadership and tolerability taught us by the Holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW).”
“The Holy Prophet’s teaching is an example that teaches us that true leadership is not about power or authority, but about service, humility, and dedication to the common good.”
“While I am happy that Nigeria is toeing the path of religious tolerance with good leadership by example from President Bola Tinubu, it is important to also campaign against the agents of division in this country.”
“Nigeria is blessed with huge and abundant resources, I don’t think we need to be where we are today, and not where we are supposed to be. Sadly, our past leaders, and some of the present have used religion to destroy our sense of patriotism.”
“Let’s shun those agents of division, and join hands irrespective of status, ethnicity and religion to move this country forward. The good of this country is the good of us all.”
