More than ten people lost their lives on Tuesday night as a Saki-bound 18-seater bus collided with a parked-truck at Agunrege town, along Iseyin-Saki road in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo state, insideoyo.com reports.
An eye witness said the accident happened around 9:00pm adding that the driver of the bus must have slept off as the vehicle veered off its lane to collide with the stationed truck.
He added that about eleven out of the thirteen passengers in the ill-fated bus reportedly died immediately after the accident.
He added that only two passengers were taken out alive from the bus.
Meanwhile, the Oyo state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Mrs Uche Chukwurah, when contacted by Naijaexaminer, said the command was not in the picture.
She said since the said accident occurred in the night, nobody reported the mishap to the officers of the command.
