The ceremony, held at The JAGZ, Simeon Adeyinka Iyanganku GRA, Ibadan, marked the final phase of the 2024 induction series for the South-West region.
The BOI Hall of Fame, established in 2014, honors exceptional entrepreneurs and businesses with a proven track record of financial discipline, ethical practices, and resilience. It has toured the South-South, South-East, North, before culminating in the South-West, where five entrepreneurs were inducted.
In his welcome address, BOI MD/CEO, Dr. Olasupo Olusi, congratulated the inductees for their unwavering commitment to excellence.
“We proudly honor our Hall of Fame inductees for their resilience in managing credit risk. These customers have exemplified outstanding commitment and trust, embodying what it means to be resilient and driving success alongside us,” he stated.
Dr. Olusi noted that while millions of businesses are registered with the BOI, only a select few qualify for the Hall of Fame due to their exceptional performance. He added that the honorees represent the highest ethical standards and integrity in their operations, especially amid the current economic challenges.
VNIKS Nigeria Enterprises, recognized for its production of fashionable, traveling, and seminar bags, alongside the other inductees, was commended for its ability to meet financial obligations promptly.
The companies were lauded for their outstanding character in repaying loans and credit facilities over the years, setting a benchmark for others to follow.

“BOI has been a source of innovative ideas and practical solutions that have kept our business thriving. This honor is a testament to their support and my team’s dedication,” she said.
She also encouraged the bank to extend its support to more small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), highlighting their critical role in Nigeria’s economic development.
