Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the office of the Special Assistant on Youth and Sports to the government, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa has provided a platform for young indigenes and denizens to acquire graphics designing skills as young enterprenuers in the state.
This is in collaboration with Ascent 8760, a creative hub in the state. According to Kazeem “this opportunity will allow young people to tap into their creative reservoirs and become better people when this whole pandemic is over. He also emphasised how young people should make the best time out of this period.
The Honourable has reached an agreement of being responsible for 70% of the registration fee for any interested candidate before the commencement of the class.
This opportunity is opened to 70 people who are interested in acquiring graphics designing skills across the state.
The classes will consist of 3 sessions daily with 10 persons population per session, twice in a week. This is to prevent physical contact and to effectively operate carrying out social distancing.
Provisions have been for online classes too. This is to ensure persons who are not in Ibadan to participate in the opportunity.
Speaking with our correspondent, Nasir Olumide, the CEO of 8760media emphasised that this opportunity is opened to everyone across the state.
He emphasized that the online classes will be no different from the physical ones and they will run simultaneously during the course of the training. Individual trainee will pay the remaining 30% during the course of the training.
All health guidelines will be strictly followed and arrangements as been made for that.
The training will commence on Monday, June 8th, 2020.
