The Federal School of Surveying, Oyo State has banned the activities of the Students Union in the institution.
Recall that insideoyo.com reported that in 2017, the authorities of the University of Ibadan accused the Ojo Aderemi-led union of disrupting academic activities by mobilising students for a massive protest against the non-issuance of Identity (ID) Cards.
The union leaders were suspended and the activities of the union proscribed afterwards. Later, the former SU President was suspended for four semesters, two year after the protest, a development countered by students and alumni bodies of the institution.
In a circular obtained by insideoyo.com which was released last week, the management said it frowned as what it termed as unruly behavior of some members of the union.
