“As the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate for Ibarapa North in the upcoming chairmanship election in Oyo State, I took my campaign rally to Ward 8 and Ward 9 Tapa. The rally was well attended by political leaders, elders, youths, and women from across both wards.
“During their speeches, leaders Ojo and Ayonitemi assured me that the people of Wards 8 and 9 would vote for the PDP in the upcoming chairmanship election. They praised the governor for the development projects he’s brought to Tapa, and for approving the conferral of sovereignty to Oba Titilola Oyekanmi Sunday. They also appreciated the support I provided to ensure the governor approved a crown for Oba Titilola Oyekanmi Sunday.
“I commended the people of Wards 8 and 9 Tapa for their unwavering support of my administration and the PDP. I also appreciated their high turnout at my Akorede 2.0 Agenda campaign rally.
“During my campaign rally, I also took the opportunity to settle the disputes between myself and some of our party members and leaders in Tapa. After discussing the issues, we agreed to move forward together in unity. I reassured them that if I am re-elected in the upcoming chairmanship election, they will benefit from my Akorede 2.0 Agenda.
“In addition, I also donated gifts to widows and gave bags of rice to party members in celebration of the upcoming Eid al-Adha. I hope that the gifts will bring some happiness to the widows during the festive time.
